Untitled Cafe, often nicknamed “Untitled,” is a cafe located in the Broad Art Center at UCLA. It is a third space built for and by students, employees, and faculty within the School of Arts and Architecture and beyond. Untitled Cafe exists for creative endeavors to extend beyond coursework. Untitled’s ethos is built on a foundation of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Untitled Cafe’s design is rooted in the interplay between shadows and the Broad. We see the space as a blank canvas, where shadows act as sketches — transitory, shifting compositions that interrupt rigid systems and fixed lines. Shadows become an analogy for movement, collaboration, and ideas in flux.
